REBLE Drops New Anthem “New Riot” — A Raw, Aggressive Manifesto of Chaos and Power

In the mist-draped hills of Meghalaya, a 24-year-old artist is redefining the contours of Indian hip-hop. Daiaphi Lamare, known by her stage name Reble, has just released her latest single, “New Riot”—a track that pulses with raw energy, distorted synths, and a message that refuses to be ignored.

“New Riot” isn’t just a song; it’s a declaration. Crafted during a personal breaking point, Reble channeled her emotions into a track that embraces chaos as a source of power. She explains, “The song was born from rage, the kind that makes you feel alive. It’s about giving shape to anger and emotional breakdowns.” For Reble, anger isn’t something to hide; it’s human, raw, and unfiltered—a reflection of the universe’s own chaos. She exudes, “We need that anger. The courage to be better, to leave bad situations, to uplift ourselves. We need to scream, cry, and express ourselves to be human, to be raw. As a woman, I love stepping into this character. Reble is an alter ego of my true self. I embrace being unfiltered. Sometimes, I just want to riot and fuck things up. The universe is chaotic by nature, and so are we. According to the second law of thermodynamics, the universe is always moving toward disorder, striving for equilibrium. We are just tiny fragments of this universe, mirroring its chaos. I want to embrace that chaos through my human rage. To declare that this is what I’m made of: a tiny reflection of cosmic chaos.”

Collaborating with producer Parimal Shais, Reble delved into a soundscape influenced by phonk and Memphis rap. The process was organic, beginning with a distorted synth that set the tone. Guitarist Krishna M. Sujith from Space Is All We Have added layers that enriched the track’s depth. The pivotal moment came unexpectedly during a vocal take that Reble had envisioned as “dirtier,” capturing the essence of the song’s raw emotion.

“New Riot” is more than a personal catharsis; it’s an invitation to listeners to confront their own emotions. Reble believes that music should be felt, not explained. She states, “For me, songs are mirrors. You see in them what’s already inside you.” Whether one hears anger, freedom, or empowerment, the track serves as a reminder that our messy emotions are what make us real.

This single marks a significant evolution in Reble’s musical journey. She describes it as her truest expression yet, stating, “Reble is the New Riot.” The track is part of a larger project exploring themes of chaos, emotion, and transformation, with aspirations to create something timeless.

Beyond the studio, Reble is making her presence felt on major live platforms. She performed at Spotify’s Rap 91 showcase and is scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud India 2025, sharing the stage with global superstars.

“New Riot” isn’t just a song; it’s a movement. Released under Homegrown Music, a joint venture with Atlantic Records, the track is now available across all major streaming platforms. Reble invites listeners to experience the energy, feel the unfiltered truth, and join the revolution.

Sneak peek into the artist’s mind: Reble

What was in your mind when you were writing/composing this song?
REBLE : The song was born from rage, the kind that makes you feel alive. It’s about giving
shape to anger and emotional breakdowns
We’re often told that anger is something to hide, something ugly. But to me, it’s human, raw and
unfiltered. Sometimes you need to scream
When I think about it, it’s a reflection of the universe itself — ever expanding, chaotic, constantly
moving toward balance yet never quite there. I see us as tiny reflections of that cosmic disorder,
trying to make sense of our own entropy. This song was my way of embracing that chaos — a
scream into the void that somehow sounded beautiful.

What does the song mean to you?
REBLE: This song came from a breaking point — that moment when everything came crashing
down. So I turned to music, to distortion, to noise.
It’s the first song where I truly felt like myself. Being human is a form of expression

Describe your songwriting/composing process.
REBLE: My process changes from time to time. Sometimes I stumble upon an instrumental that
feels good and I write to it. Other times, I sit down with a producer and we build everything from
scratch — carving out sounds, molding distortion into rhythm.
I like to be inside the sound, not outside it — to help shape every element that ends up in the
final piece. I’m drawn to heavy synths, warped textures, some people would consider it noise.
There’s something raw and almost violent about those frequencies, and I find that beautiful.

How was the recording/production process? Mention about the collaboration.
REBLE: This track was created with Parimal Shais, a producer I’d wanted to work with for a long
time. At the time, we were both in Bangalore, sharing a common love for phonk and Memphis
rap — that grimy sound.
We started with a distorted synth — something unsettling, something alive. From there, the song
built itself. We brought in Krishna, the guitarist from Space Is All We Have, who layered in the
sick guitars
The magic moment was the hook. It wasn’t planned — it just happened. The first vocal take we
recorded, distorted and imperfect, became the spine of the song. You can still hear that original
take in the final version. I remember I told Parimal “make it dirtier”

Any interesting story or anecdote during the making?
REBLE: That first hook was the spark. It just happened. I remember telling Patimal to pass me
his mic because I had this crazy idea and we recorded it.

What do you want listeners to take away from this track?
REBLE: I want listeners to take away whatever they need. Music shouldn’t be explained — it
should be felt.
For me, songs are like mirrors. You see in them what’s already inside you. Some people might
hear anger, others might hear freedom. I want the track to expand imagination, to remind people
that emotions — even the messy ones — are what make us real.

What’s next for you (upcoming releases, shows, projects)?
REBLE: There’s a lot coming — more projects that dive into this heavy, sound I’m building. This
song is part of a larger album or EP, and the goal is to craft something timeless — We’re
definitely chasing classics.

Who are your biggest musical influences?
REBLE: My biggest influences have always been artists who made me feel something raw —
Eminem, André 3000, Red Hot Chili Peppers, MGMT, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Pink Floyd. I live
music with broad perspective, music that narrates life.
These days, I’ve been jamming a lot to artists like $uicideboy$ and Freddie Dredd — sounds
that push heaviness to new spaces. I guess I’ve always gravitated toward heavy sounds

How does this song fit into your journey as an artist?
REBLE: It’s heavier, darker, but also more me. Most of my old projects were trials and errors
but this one is my sound.

How is it different from your previous work?
REBLE: It’s raw. Like I said, for the first time I’m really feeling it. This is me. Reble is the New
Riot.

Any collaborations on this track?
REBLE: I collaborated with Parimal Shais on the beat and we got my friend Krishna from the
band Space Is All We Have to lay down some sick guitars.

Is this part of a bigger project (album/EP)?
REBLE: Yes, it’s part of a larger album/EP that explores similar themes — chaos, emotion,
transformation. We have so much art to out of and I’m beyond grateful to have been able to do
this

Message to your fans?
REBLE: Keep listening to good music. Keep making life worth its time.
Music is therapy — a persona, a voice in our heads. In this chaos, it reminds us who we are.
We all need that voice. Don’t stop listening to it

“New Riot” is about embracing chaos and rage as sources of power. It’s a declaration against
being boxed in or underestimated. Through anger, I embrace the universe’s chaos — I’m only a
tiny reflection of cosmic chaos.
