A poem SOCIAL MEDIA UNDERSTOOD by actor Merlvin Jude Mukhim

Please share us on

I’m sorry, that amidst the laughter and smiles
I can’t look you in the eye.
You are taken, you are someone else’s
Are you? Tell me, straight up
My heart urges ME to speak.

I’m sorry, for the times I felt, I was safe
Everyone knows, our secret, unfolds
There’s them, there’s us,
Like how we’re known to be
Then there’s them, and you, what about me?

Now, through my eyes, I want to see!!!

I’m sorry, for missing your call
On Messenger, the craze of this world
Wish I had taken, spoken, understood
Just to know how it feels, to stand!

But, I didn’t, nervous, that was I.

All this, thanks to you, on social media
Relentless, you have been
No, not being sorry, but always scheming
Of the mind, and secret dreams!!!

Just as I was saving my file, I felt
I needed to add more, a question,
Perhaps, thinking my thoughts, am I stupid?
There is a word to read,
YOU will question, what’s the worth?

On This, and That platform, virtually, you exist!
It may also be important
To know, where is the happiness. . .
